During the second quarter of 2022, the top five tycoon games on Android in the United States demonstrated diverse trends in their weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at their performance:

Township from Playrix saw significant fluctuations in its metrics. Weekly revenue peaked at approximately $1.7M at the beginning of April and experienced a noticeable dip to around $987K in early May. By the end of June, revenue rebounded to about $1.5M. Weekly downloads for the game varied, starting at 29.5K at the end of March and reaching a high of 36.9K by late April, then ending June at approximately 30.8K. Active users also saw some changes, climbing from 341K in late March to a peak of 409K in early May, before settling at around 328K by the end of June.

Family Island™ — Farming game by Melsoft Games Ltd maintained a relatively stable weekly revenue, hovering around $520K to $597K throughout the quarter, with a slight peak towards the end of June. Downloads for this game showed an upward trend, starting at 23.4K in late March and peaking at 45.3K by mid-June. Active users consistently grew, starting at 96.9K at the end of March and reaching approximately 115K by the end of June.

Last Fortress: Underground, published by LIFE IS A GAME LIMITED, exhibited a strong increase in weekly revenue, beginning at about $200K in late March and rising steadily to approximately $427K by the end of June. Downloads also saw an increase, starting at 10.4K and peaking at around 41.9K in early May, before stabilizing at roughly 27.2K towards the end of June. Active users followed a similar pattern, growing from 42.9K in late March to almost 84K by the end of June.

Bermuda Adventures Farm Island from BELKA GAMES showed more modest figures. Weekly revenue remained relatively stable, fluctuating between $82K to $112K throughout the quarter. Downloads started at 19.8K in late March and experienced a slight decline, ending at about 17K in late June. Active users showed a slight decline as well, from 49.4K in late March to around 48.5K by the end of June.

Finally, Overcrowded: Tycoon by ZeptoLab, which launched in late April, saw a significant rise in weekly revenue from its initial $2.2K to approximately $42.7K by mid-June, before slightly decreasing to around $38.6K by the end of June. Downloads started at 3.4K in late April and peaked at 34.5K in early June, then settled at about 24.4K by the end of June. Active users increased from 3.3K in late April to about 55.6K by early June, and then slightly decreased to 46.3K by the end of June.
